Stoneleigh-Burnham School, an independent girls’ boarding and day school for grades 7-12, seeks a Salad Bar Attendant, effective immediately, for a part-time school year position.

Monday - Friday 8:30 am. - 2:30 pm.  (30 hours a week)

Located in the Pioneer Valley, a short drive from the Five College Consortium (UMass Amherst, Smith, Mount Holyoke, Hampshire, and Amherst College), Stoneleigh-Burnham School is the only girls’ school in New England to offer the IB Diploma Programme and attracts students from the local area and around the world. Our mission centers around helping our students discover and use their authentic voices. Responsibilities:

- Responsible for preparing the salad bar items, tending the salad bar throughout the lunch hour, tidying up the salad bar and re-stocking it for dinner service.

- Provides additional assistance in the kitchen, dish room, or dining room if needed or time allows.

- Occasionally required to work different shifts to help with special events (about 5 times a year.)

Applicants for this position should:

 - Have good people skills, and a positive attitude.

 - Be able to lift 50 pounds. 

 - Be able to maintain order and cleanliness in the kitchen and dining room.
