
Salad Bar Attendant, Part-Time
Stoneleigh-Burnham School, an independent girls’ boarding and day school for grades 7-12, seeks a Salad Bar Attendant, effective immediately, for a part-time school year position.
Monday - Friday 8:30 am. - 2:30 pm. (30 hours a week)
Located in the Pioneer Valley, a short drive from the Five College Consortium (UMass Amherst, Smith, Mount Holyoke, Hampshire, and Amherst College), Stoneleigh-Burnham School is the only girls’ school in New England to offer the IB Diploma Programme and attracts students from the local area and around the world. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for preparing the salad bar items, tending the salad bar throughout the lunch hour, tidying up the salad bar and re-stocking it for dinner service.
- Provides additional assistance in the kitchen, dish room, or dining room if needed or time allows.
- Occasionally required to work different shifts to help with special events (about 5 times a year.)
Applicants for this position should:
- Have good people skills, and a positive attitude.
- Be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Be able to maintain order and cleanliness in the kitchen and dining room.
